A 43-year-old man died and his father was injured when an argument at a bar turned deadly.
Dallas police say just before 10 p.m. Thursday, Charles Savage, Jr. of Dallas began to argue with a man he'd known for years at the Neon Cowboy Bar at 10420 C.F. Hawn Freeway (Highway 175).
When the fight went outside, it escalated until the suspect pulled a gun. Police say Savage was shot in the face, and his father, Charles Savage, Sr. was shot in the foot.
Both men were rushed to Baylor Hospital, where the son later died.
The suspect fled, but is identified as 35-year-old Michael Herring. Homicide detectives have a warrant out for his arrest.
