Dallas police are looking for three men who held up the same store twice in the last two weeks.
The method of operation has been similar both times -- two men, one armed with what police describe as an AK-47 or SKS-type rifle, walked into McGriff's Beer and Wine store at 2808 S. Marsalis Ave. near Saner Avenue.
A third suspect waited outside, armed with a handgun.
All three wore dust masks or bandannas to cover their faces.
Police say on September 20, the men stole money, cigarettes, and a .25-caliber pistol. But on October 1, the clerk was prepared and fired a shot at the suspects, chasing them away before they could steal anything.
Dallas police say the men are about 17 to 21 years old.
