
A Hood county soldier, killed in action, will be remembered and honored Sunday for his service.
Funeral services for Sergeant Riley Stephens will be held Sunday afternoon in his hometown of Tolar.
His body arrived in Cleburne Saturday, where family, friends, military veterans, and even complete strangers were on hand.
Sergeant Stephens was with the Army's special forces.
He was killed in Afghanistan by enemy fire ten days ago.
He is survived by his wife and three children.
Cathy Cook, who was at the Cleburne service Saturday said, "my heart is praying for the family.. how do you say something to someone who has lost their loved one like that?"
Following Sgt. Stephens funeral, there will be a procession to the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Grand Prairie where he will be laid to rest.
