A female student attending Southern Methodist University was sexually assaulted by a fellow student last week, according to SMU police.
A campus crime alert says the alleged attack happened Friday night at an off-campus apartment in the 3400 block of Asbury Ave.
It is the fifth sexual assault reported this school year to university police.
The report was in late September when a fraternity member allegedly attacked another male student twice. That student was suspended from the fraternity pending an investigation.
SMU administrators have promised to form a task force to address the attacks and inform students and faculty of proper procedures.
