Parker County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 28 year old man for the murder of 47 year old Linda Preston. Preston's body was found Thursday afternoon in her rural Parker County home by her husband.
Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler says the investigation led the deputies to an apartment complex on the west side of Fort Worth. 28 year old Hector Trejo was taken into custody for the woman's murder. Friday the victim's stolen car was found in Fort Worth. Fowler says the Preston's rented their home from member's of Trejo's family. Detectives believe Trejo became angry when Mrs. Preston would not allow him to use her car according to the sheriff.
Trejo was recently paroled from the Texas Department of Corrections after serving time on a robbery charge. Sheriff Fowler says deputies believe an additional arrest is possible.
