42 Year old Rufino Hernandez was working as a security
guard, in southeast Dallas, when he was shot and killed.
The murder happened at about 1:30 Saturday morning at the
Pecan Way apartments. Hernandez was working
a double shift to try to make ends meet.
Police have not released many details about the shooting,
like a possible motive.
Hernandez' loved ones say the security guard carried his
own weapon, and it was likely used against him.
Relatives of the victim say a couple of months ago,
Hernandez was working security at the same apartment complex, when a crook took
his wallet at gunpoint.
Police are still looking for the person or persons
responsible. Hernandez leaves behind a 24
year old daughter.
