The system that brought welcome rains across North Texas last night is now heading off to the east. Several areas across the region saw rainfall amounts exceeding 1-2". High pressure will now settle into the area for the next few days as mostly sunny skies can be expected. Daytime highs will find us climbing into the middle 80s with lows dropping into the upper 50s to lower 60s at night. Another cold front is expected to move through the area by Wednesday night and that could spark a few showers. However, moisture will be limited so the rain is not expected to be wide spread.
