The search is under way for a high school football player who disappeared this weekend at Possum Kingdom Lake.
Seventeen-year-old Jacob Logan vanished at the lake on Sunday while cliff diving with friends near Bluff Creek Marina.
The Brazos River Authority was called to the scene at about 2 p.m. after friends reported that Logan had slipped beneath the surface of the water and had not re-emerged.
A search for the Coppell High School Cowboys wide receiver was suspended at sundown but was would resume early Monday.
Logan, known to friends as "Superman" because of his athletic prowess, made a touchdown against Hebron High School on Friday, helping to lift the Cowboys to victory.
Classmates and parents gathered at the school Sunday night to pray for Logan's safe return.
"There's definitely still hope that he is alive, and I personally believe somehow God's going to find a way to bring him alive," Tyler Jones said "That's just the thing about Jacob is – if anyone can do it, it will be him. He's Superman."
