Host Glenn Beck launches new denim line

DALLAS -

Talk show host. North Texas resident. Now, Glenn Beck: clothing designer?

For just $129.99, you too can get a pair of jeans completely made in America. Beck announced the new venture on his website Monday.

The company, called 1791 Denim, features a Classic Cut and a Straight Cut style of men's jeans. Though they appear identical on the website's the featured photograph, the Classic Cut is "for the gent that needs a little more room" in the thigh, leg and ankle, according to the description.

While offered in a variety of waist sizes, there is only one length for men's jeans. If your legs are shorter or longer than 34 inches, you're out of luck.

Beck says he conceived the idea of American-made jeans while doing research for a story about the fashion industry and learned how many clothes were made in other countries.

1791 also offers vintage-inspired t-shirts, a few hats, and a line of women's t-shirts and fleeces.
