DALLAS -
The driver of an SUV who was allegedly trying to flee another accident was killed Wednesday night in a crash in west Oak Cliff
Witnesses said the man hit a car near the intersection of Illinois Avenue and Cockrell Hill Road and tried to speed away.
But he lost control of his Dodge Durango. It flipped three times and went airborne before smashing into a several trees along Cockrell Hill Road and Garfield Avenue.
Dallas Fire Rescue confirmed the man died at the scene.
His name has not yet been released.
