Homeowner shoots kills one burglar, wounds another

A southeast Dallas homeowner shot and killed one suspected burglar and wounded another.

Dallas police say the homeowner returned to her house on the 400 block of Bolero and found three burglars inside the home.

She told officers that one suspect pulled out a gun.

The homeowner then pulled out her own weapon and shot two of the three suspects.

One suspect, 19 year old Larry Williams, collapsed outside a nearby home and was later pronounced dead at a hospital.

The other suspect, who was shot, was found at a nearby convenience store, and taken to a hospital.

The third suspect was take to police headquarters for questioning.

The homeowner did not suffer any serious injuries.

The shooting investigation will be referred to a grand jury.
