Woman opens fire on burglary suspects

One man is dead, another wounded and a third man is in police custody after a woman opened fire when she walked in on the trio burglarizing her Dallas home.

Dallas police say the woman saw one of the three men inside her home with a gun. She drew her weapon and opened fire on the trio. One of the three ran from the house and collapsed in a neighbors yard. He was taken to a local hospital and died. The other two  burglary suspects made it to a nearby convenience store and were arrested by police. One of those two men was taken to Baylor Hospital for his injuries, the other taken into custody.

Police identify the dead man as Larry Jurvotaire Williams. The other two had outstanding warrants and will be charged with burglary of a habitation. Police say the Grand Jury will decide if charges will be filed against the woman.
