Trick-or-treater struck by SUV in Fort Worth

FORT WORTH, Texas -

An 11-year-old girl was slightly injured after she was clipped by an SUV bumper while she was trick-or-treating.

Police say it happened about 8 p.m. on Forest Park Boulevard near Harrison Avenue.

The driver initially stopped, but witnesses with the child said the girl was not seriously hurt, so he drove away.

Police later tracked him down by his license plate number. They are still considering whether to file charges.

The girl was taken to Cook Children's Medical Center for observation.
