Another North Texas teenager is taking a crack at the Guinness World Record for the most consecutive back handsprings.
Cody Welch, a freshman at the Crossland Ninth Grade Center in Granbury, tumbled his way down the football field just before the start of a football game between Granbury High School and Fort Worth's Tremble Tech High School.
His cheered on as he completed 44 back flips.
Welch is a member of the freshman cheerleading squad. He also competed at the national Junior Olympics in July, taking home a bronze medal for tumbling.
It's not clear if anyone from the Guinness Book of World Records was watching him but they were watching Miranda Ferguson back in early October.
