The past few days have brought at or near record temperatures to north Texas, but today will bring a slight chance for rain. We'll start the morning with a few high clouds and light southerly winds, with the afternoon bringing plenty of sunshine and a high around 84°.

A cold front will be dropping south by mid-afternoon increasing rain chances to about 30%, with better chances south and east of the metro.

High temps on Sunday will be more seasonable in the mid 70s.
