DENTON COUNTY, Texas -
A man and a woman have been found dead inside a home in Denton County in what appears to be a murder-suicide.
The sheriff's department said a deputy found the deceased while making a welfare check at the home in the 10,000 block of Lakeview Drive in the Providence Village, near State Highway 380.
Both died from apparent gunshot wounds, but the woman appears to be the one who was a victim of a crime.
The sheriff's department said she reported that she was trying to move out of the house that she shared with her boyfriend and he was preventing her from going to get her belongings.
Neighbors reported hearing thumps and doors slamming. One also may have heard the gunshots.
No information about the victim's or the suspect's identity was released.
