DALLAS -
A bomb threat -- the third of the day in North Texas -- possibly prompted an evacuation of the Fairmont Hotel in downtown Dallas.
Dallas police did not provide details about the threat at 1717 N. Akard St. but police cars were blocking streets at Akard and Ross Avenue.
No further details were immediately available.
The threat is the third of its kind today in Dallas-Fort Worth.
A North Dallas FannieMae office was also the subject of a bomb hoax earlier this morning. And Flower Mound Town Hall was evacuated after a teenager allegedly posted a threatening message on Twitter.
