FORT WORTH, Texas -
A man was found slain in his vehicle in an industrial area of Fort Worth on Thursday.
According to investigators, the Arturo Jimenez's body was in the bed of his pickup truck, which was parked at a concrete company just off Highway 287.
He appeared to have been shot to death, police said.
The victim's wife said he did not return home Wednesday night and that she went looking for him on Thursday morning.
"After driving around for several hours she located his pickup truck. She discovered a deceased man in the back of the pickup truck," said Sgt. Pedro Criado with the Fort Worth Police Department.
The victim did not work at the concrete business.
Police are still trying to determine why he was at the location and who was with him when he was killed.
