FULTON COUNTY, Ga. -

Fulton County election officials admit that pop star Usher received VIP treatment on Election Day.

The singer was ushered to the front of the line while other voters stood waiting for hours.

"Arrangements were made in advance so that he could get in and out," said Sharon Mitchell, interim elections director in Fulton County. "It's better for us not to have a celebrity create a distraction for the rest of the voters in line.

The singer's special treatment infuriated many non-celebrates in the voting line in Roswell.

Usher went straight to his voting machine and took pictures of himself casting his ballot.
