As police continue to look for leads in the murder of a 16-year-old Greenville girl, members of her community are determined to keep her case front and center in the public's mind.
Alicia Moore disappeared one week ago just a few hundred feet from her home, immediately after she stepped off the school bus.
Now, on the corner of Bourland and Walnut Streets, a memorial created by friends is growing. Stuffed animals, balloons, notes and candles show her family how much Greenville cares.
A McKinney businessman is offering a $15,000 reward to help catch whoever killed Moore and dumped her body in a storage trunk. Construction workers found her body off a rural highway near Wills Point on Tuesday.
Also, donations for a family memorial fund are being accepted at American National Bank, account No. 3100014491.
