ARLINGTON, Texas -
An Arlington man is charged with fatally shooting his wife.
According to investigators, 60-year-old Jack Watson killed Sharon Watson, whose body was found Saturday inside the couple's home in the 400 block of Roberts Circle.
A 911 caller alerted police to a possible body at the home and told an operator that Watson was driving around while threatening suicide, police said.
Officers soon made phone contact with Watson, who peacefully surrendered at about 7 p.m. in a hotel parking lot near State Highway 360 and Abram, police said.
Police arrested Watson and charged him with murder.
He remained in the Arlington City Jail on Monday on $100,000 bail.
