FORT WORTH, Texas -
The spot where a big Christmas tree will stand in Sundance Square will be empty for a little while longer.
The tree is typically hoisted into place the week before Thanksgiving, but there was a shipping delay. The 55-foot blue spruce from Michigan did not arrive in time for Monday morning's ceremony.
The event was rescheduled for 10 a.m. on Tuesday. Decorators will begin their work afterward, hanging more than 5,000 LED lights in a nutcracker theme.
The tree lighting ceremony takes place on the day after Thanksgiving.
