Freeze warning issued for North Texas

Posted: Updated:
DALLAS -

Most of the region will be under a freeze warning overnight and then it seems the chill will stick around, at least for a while.

According to the National Weather Service, the freeze warning will be in effect from 3 to 9 a.m. Patchy frost is also possible.

The weather will be clear and cold overnight with temperatures early Tuesday morning ranging from the middle 20s to the lower 30s.

FOX 4's meteorologists said unlike the last few weeks, this time the chill will last a bit with highs in the 60s through Friday and possibly the weekend.
