A school in Kaufman ISD was evacuated Wednesday afternoon after someone found a note that mentioned a bomb.

Students from O. P. Norman Junior High school at 3701 S. Houston Street, were herded into the district stadium a short distance from their school.

Superintendent Dr. Todd Williams told FOX 4 News that parents can pick up their children if they choose. Otherwise, buses will run on their regular afternoon schedule.

No injuries were reported.
