A man who coached for the Seagoville Youth Sports Association is now behind bars for allegedly molesting a 10-year-old girl, police said.
Stephen Meshell is being held in the Dallas County jail on a $125,000 bond for the aggravated sexual assault of a child.
Police said the crime happened in May of last year while the girl was at Meshell's house for a sleepover. She was on the softball or cheerleading squad and was friends with his daughter.
The next day the girl told her older sister about what happened and her sister made the outcry at school, police said.
Police are now looking into whether there are more victims.
Meshell also drove the church van for Victory Baptist Church, but was never alone with the passengers because there were always monitors on board, the pastor said.
