More Women Turning To Butt Injections To Boost Their Behinds

Posted: Updated:

Remember when "junk in your trunk" was considered a bad thing? My how times have changed as a growing number of women are turning to doctors to boost their butts.

FOX 29's Joyce Evans followed the journeys of two very different women with one common goal: bigger behinds.

Nicole says she wanted her butt to be more curvy and her desire to have a bigger butt nearly cost her. Nicole says she nearly took her behind to one of those "backroom booty boosting outfits," similar to ones that have claimed the lives and limbs of desperate women.

And if you want your butt to get bigger for cheap - many women are willing to risk anything to let anyone inject any hardware store product into their backsides.

Nicole says she didn't risk it and a year ago, she opted for a softer, more safe, more natural transformation of her own fat.

She opted for what's called the "Brazilian Butt Lift" and as big a butt as plastic surgeon Dr. Steven Davis would allow for her skinny frame.

She tells FOX 29 she's lost a little off the 47 inches of her new butt since the surgery, but she's also maintaining her weight.

Although her butt is quite pleasing to Nicole's boyfriend, she tells us it's not big enough.

She has asked Dr. Davis for more, but he says he's not going to go off the charts.

As for Ann, money for a milestone birthday vacation will pay for her to have the procedure.

She tells us she wants her butt to have a nice shape.

Like Nicole, Ann is putting her butt in the hands of Dr. Davis.

As part of the butt lift method, doctors take fat from Ann's waist and hips to be harvested and injected into her butt.

The entire procedure takes about an hour and with a stitch or two, Ann is all wrapped up, tight and ready to go.

Recovery includes pain, of course, and doctors say you have to stay off your butt.

"For the next week or two, the more standing she can do, laying on one side or the other, the better," Dr. Davis said.

Ten days after surgery, Anne is already showing off her new behind.

"I love it," she said.

The surgery is not for everyone. Doctors say results depend on what you start out with, as does recovery. For some patients, cost can also be an issue. Ann says her surgery cost her $8,000.

Nicole's surgery cost her $13,000 and she still says she wants more.
