
A 10-year-old girl was rushed to the hospital Friday morning after being struck by a car on the way to school.
The accident happened about 7:45 a.m. on the southbound feeder road of I-35E at E. Hattie Street in south Fort Worth.
The child was on her way to Van Zandt Guinn Elementary school when she was struck, according to MedStar EMS.
Fortunately, her injuries are not considered life-threatening.
An ambulance took her to Cook Children's Hospital where she is recovering.
