GREENVILLE, Texas -

Police, FBI, and Van Zandt County sheriff's deputies are going door-to-door in a Greenville neighborhood to gather more clues about a 16-year-old who vanished, then was murdered.

Alicia Moore disappeared after stepping off her school bus on Friday, Nov. 2. Her parents reported her missing the next day.

Moore's body was discovered the following Tuesday in a storage trunk dumped on the side of a road in Van Zandt County.

No one is sure if she was kidnapped, or got willingly into a car with someone she knew.'

Now investigators are trying to get any scrap of information that can tell them what happened in her neighborhood after she stepped off the bus.

"Law enforcement officers will be talking to people and stopping vehicles in the area to ask questions and try to obtain more information that may assist in the ongoing investigation," said Greenville Police public information officer Lori Philyaw.
