A Fort Worth police patrol car, carrying a couple of suspects, collided with another vehicle overnight.
It happened just around midnight on the city's west side, at Las Vegas Trail and Calmont Avenue.
An officer had just made the arrests and was transporting the detainees when his squad car was involved in a collision with a vehicle, which was carrying two adults and two children.
Police say the officer was able to swerve out of the way and avoid a major crash.
The officer, and two people in custody, were taken to a hospital as a precaution.
The officer injured his wrist, but is expected to be ok.
No word if the other driver will be charged.
