Police in Mesquite have found a vehicle involved in an Amber Alert out of southeast Texas.
However, there is no word on the fate of 11-year-old Savannah Hurley or her alleged kidnapper and biological mother, Shelly Jean Hurley.
Authorities in Trinity County, near Huntsville, say Shelly Hurley attacked a CPS worker who came to get her daughter after Hurley lost custody.
After the attack, Hurley and Savannah escaped in a pickup truck.
Overnight, police thought the pair might have switched to a different vehicle and headed for the Garland area.
A maroon station wagon matching the description of the new vehicle was found in neighborhood in the 5500 block of Club Crest, near I-635 and La Prada. The vehicle was parked in the street, blocking a car in the driveway.
Savannah has brown hair, stands about 4 feet 10 inches tall, and weighs about 120 lbs, has a small gap between her front teeth and pierced ears.
Shelly Jean Hurley has blonde hair, brown eyes, is 46 years old, stands 5 feet 4 inches and weighs 110 lbs.
If you see them, call 911.
