FORT WORTH, Texas -
A 70-year old woman faces her third drunken driving charge after a head-on crash that injured a Fort Worth deputy marshal on Wednesday.
The incident happened just after 7 p.m. in the 9000 block of N. Normandale Street.
According to investigators, the deputy marshal said he was driving north on the street when Sanda Bloxom's sedan suddenly crossed into his lane, hitting his vehicle head-on.
Fort Worth police arrested Bloxom on suspicion of DWI after giving her a field sobriety test.
The marshal was hospitalized for cuts he suffered in the crash.
Bloxom faces a 3rd degree felony because of two prior convictions for drunken driving.
