Despite a chilly morning across North Texas, it turned out to be a pretty nice day. Afternoon highs climbed into the upper 50s to lower 60s under bright sunshine. Southerly winds will return on Sunday as temperatures will be much warmer in the days ahead. We're expecting 70 degree temperatures to return on Sunday and Monday with gusty winds. A cold front will be moving through the area on Monday and temperatures will be cooling off quite a bit by mid-week. Moisture will be limited, so very little, if any, precipitation can be expected. The best rain chances will be off to our southeast. Upper 60s to lower 70s will return towards the end of the week with just a slight chance for rain on Thursday. We need the rain, but temperature wise you just can't complain.
