Two people were killed on Monday when at least one person barged into an Oak Lawn apartment and opened fire, police said.
The incident happened sometime after noon at 3323 Cedar Plaza Ln, off Lemmon Avenue.
According to Dallas Police Lt. Eno Fite, three people were inside the apartment at the time of the shooting.
"[Officers] found one male deceased at the apartment and two others had been transferred to Parkland Hospital, where one of the other persons – males – passed away," Fite said. "And the other one sustained non-life-threatening injuries."
Fite said there were likely two shooters and that they probably knew the victims.
She said police were interviewing witnesses and that a suspect description was not immediately available.
The investigation is ongoing, Fite said.
