The trial for a man accused of shooting a shopping center security guard is scheduled to begin Tuesday morning.
Police say in May 2011, 24-year-old Lemuel Mosley tried to rob a Wing Stop restaurant on Buckner Boulevard between Bruton and Lake June Roads.
When 49-year-old security guard Robert St. Clair entered the restaurant and saw what was happening, he tried to stop the robbery.
As St. Clair was struggling with Mosley, police say Mosley took the guard's gun and shot him with it.
Mosely is also accused of shooting the Wing Stop manager in the face. That manager survived and is expected to be one of the first witnesses called in the trial.
