PHOTOS: 26 charged in Aurora prostitution sting

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

A two-day prostitution sting staged by Aurora Police Special Operations investigators resulted in arrests of 21 men and 5 women.

"Despite what some believe, prostitution is not a victimless crime," Chief of Police Greg Thomas says. "Aside from the obvious health risks, these services advertised on websites are frequently nothing more than fronts for violent crimes including armed robberies, batteries and assaults. The message is clear. People that engage in these behaviors should stay clear of Aurora."

The arrests of the five women and two of the men on Wednesday resulted from an undercover officer responding to advertisements on the targeted websites and setting up meetings with the suspects at an undisclosed Aurora address. The suspects were arrested after they allegedly offered the undercover officer money in exchange for sexual favors.

Charged with prostitution on Wednesday were:

Ashley Lynn Brevig, 25, of the 100 block of Stroble Av., Amboy Il; Christopher Lee Rosario, 23, of the 700 block of Lewisburg Ln.; and Veleda Ayana Bell, 22, of the 2100 block of Best Pl., both of Aurora; Tetiana Pylypenko, 23, of the 3200 block of N. Cicero; and Rachel Grace Binkley, 20, of the 3100 block of N. Springfield, both of Chicago; and Infinity Onyaye Flynn, 20, of the 3200 block of W. Lafayette Av., Decatur.

Pylypenko was also charged with battery for allegedly throwing a water bottle at the undercover officer during her arrest. In addition, Byron Charles Young, 21, of the 2100 block of E. 68th in Chicago, who accompanied Ms. Flynn to the setup location, was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon after a pistol was located in his vehicle incident to his arrest.

19 men were arrested and charged with solicitation of a sexual act on Thursday after they responded to a different location in reference to an ad placed by Aurora police on one of the internet sites. They likewise allegedly offered undercover officer money in exchange for sex. They include:

Naperville residents William X. Fang, 60, of the 1300 block of Dunrobin Cr.; Deepak G. Ghelani, 53, of the 1500 block of Garfield Av.; Keith Joseph Quintavalle, 63, of the 800 block of Shondrew Dr., Thomas Jay Sinnen, 55, of the 23000 block of W. Royal Worlington; and Charles Chester Sawall, 57, of the 10S100 block of Alago Rd.

Bolingbrook residents Victor Manuel Herrera-Villegas, 37, of the 200 block of Silverado St.; Guy Baillargeon, 34, of the 0-99 block of Elm Ct.; Larry Joe Tincher, 47, of the 300 block of Thistle Dr.; Aaron Kenneth Heath, 28, of the 300 block of Deering Ln.; and Randall Vincent Ringgold, 45, of the 400 block of Rebecca Ln.

Aurora residents Alfonso Gomez Perez, 28, of the 500 block of E. New York St.; Juan Mirandan, 25, of the 700 block of Spencer St.; and Manoj A. Enas, 40, of the 3700 block of Baybrook Dr.

Also arrested and charged were Timothy Bryan Tunnell, 45, of the 700 block of John Ct., Genoa Il; Phillip Stephan Hollingsworth, 55, of the 3000 block of Caroline Dr., Joliet; Juan Carlos Ascencio, 46, of the 100 block of Hamlet Cr., Montgomery; Gary Leroy Morgan, 57, of the 21000 block of Aspen Ln., Plainfield; and William Grant, 32, of the 100 block of Meroway Ct., Chapin, SC.;

Aurora Police seized 25 vehicles during the operation.
