FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) - Rex Ryan is undecided on his starting quarterback for the New York Jets' next game, a day after he benched Mark Sanchez in favor of third-stringer Greg McElroy in the team's win over Arizona.

Ryan says Monday he needs "a little more time to make that decision," adding that he wants to consult with his coaching staff. He expects to decide who'll start at Jacksonville on Sunday by the time the team practices Wednesday.

Ryan maintains that he has confidence in Sanchez, McElroy and Tim Tebow, who was inactive for the Jets' 7-6 win Sunday while healing from two broken ribs.

Sanchez left with 4:48 left in the third quarter, and McElroy came in and led the Jets to the only touchdown of the game on his first NFL drive.
