A 20-year-old man is in police custody, accused of a Nov. 26 triple shooting at an apartment complex in the Oak Lawn neighborhood of Dallas.
According to investigators, Demetrius Sterns turned himself in to police on Tuesday night and is charged with two counts of capital murder and one count of aggravated assault.
Police said Sterns barged into an apartment at 3323 Cedar Plaza Ln, off Lemmon Avenue, and shot all three people inside.
One man died at the scene and a second died at a hospital. A third man was injured.
