A great start to your Sunday morning with temperatures in the 60s and even a few low 70s across the Metroplex... but enjoy the warm weather now. By 2 PM temperatures will start to plummet into the 50s, 40s, and eventually 30s into the late evening hours.
What about the moisture? Well, it's there... but not for DFW. All the shower and storm activity should stay off to the SE of the Metroplex area as the front passes through early this afternoon.
We do see some chances for the white stuff, but only a 10% chance in the early Monday morning hours for a flurry or brief sprinkle of sleet. No accumulation in the Metroplex is expected.
As for early-morning Monday... BRUTAL cold as temperatures will only be in the 30s with winds 10-20 mph with gusts to 30 and wind chills in the teens possible. Make sure the kids are bundled up!
