Police seek armed home invaders in Denton

DENTON, Texas -

Two armed men forced their way into a Denton apartment and robbed the residents at gunpoint, police said.

The incident happened on Dec. 4 at about 10:20 p.m. at a residence in the 300 block of Coronado Drive.

According to investigators, both victims said each assailant was armed, though it was not clear what the robbers took from the apartment.

Police describe one suspect as being black, in his mid-20s, between 5 feet 8 inches tall and 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a dark complexion and thin build.

They describe the second suspect as being black, in his mid-20s, between 5 feet 8 inches tall and 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a light, pock-marked complexion, light brown eyes and a patchy beard.

Both suspects are considered armed and dangerous.

Denton police ask anyone with information on the suspects to call them at 940-349-7961 or 911.
