GARLAND, Texas -
Fire tore through a large Garland home on Tuesday morning, forcing one resident to flee.
The blaze broke out sometime around 9:00 at the two-story residence in the 3300 block of Bluffview Drive, near Lake Ray Hubbard, in the southeast portion of the city.
Fire officials said one person who was at home at the time escaped unharmed.
They said the fire likely started in an upstairs addition but the cause was not immediately known.
