There's no stopping the clock when it comes to aging, but there are ways to help slow how the process affects the appearance of your skin.
Registered Dietitians at the Cleveland Clinic say foods like strawberries, which are rich in antioxidants, and salmon, which are high in omega three fatty acids can help defend your skin against wrinkles.
Omega three fatty acids help preserve collagen which keeps skin firm. Experts used to think chocolate caused acne, but it turns out cocoa may actually improve skin's texture thanks to flavanoids. But try to keep your chocolate consumption to about an ounce a day and be sure it's at least 70 percent cocoa.
There's also evidence that drinking at least three cups of coffee a day may help lower your risk for the most common type of skin cancer. Green tea seems to also have the same benefit.
