The driver of an 18-wheeler was killed overnight when his rig flipped, pinning him inside the truck's cab.
The incident happened at about 12:30 a.m. in the 10000 block of Old Granbury Road.
According to investigators, the tanker truck was traveling westbound when the unidentified driver failed to negotiate a 90-degree turn. The vehicle careened off the road and rolled into a ditch, they said.
The man was pinned inside the cab and was pronounced dead after firefighters freed him from the wreckage.
The tanker was filled with water from gas wells and the roadway was closed for a time while the load was pumped off and the rig towed away.
