SEAGOVILLE, Texas -

Seagoville Middle School in Dallas was briefly locked down on Thursday because of rumors of a gun on campus.

Officials at the school at 950 Woody Road secured the facility as a precaution.

The lockdown lasted about an hour and no weapon was found.
