FRISCO, Texas -
A Frisco mother of three and her youngest child were killed when their minivan collided with another vehicle late Sunday, police said.
Saadia Ghaffar, 38, and her 2-year-old daughter Zoya died at separate hospitals.
Police say Ghaffar was driving her Toyota Sienna north on Preston Road about 8:30 p.m. when an SUV crossed the median and struck them just south of Meadow Hill Drive.
Ghaffar was rushed to Centennial Medical Center, and her daughter was taken to Children's Medical Center in Dallas.
The 21-year-old driver of the SUV was treated and released at a third hospital.
It's not clear if any charges will be filed in the accident.
