Authorities said that Paige that Paige was hiding at a friend's apartment in Duluth.
Paige, 36, is accused of running over Officer Michael Hooks on Dec. 12 outside an abandoned K-Mart distribution center. Authorities said that Paige and Jabari Jackson may have been stealing metal from the site when Officer Hooks arrived. Jackson was arrested shortly after the incident, but Paige managed to elude police for a week.
Paige faces several charges, including aggravated assault on a peace officer, aggravated battery on a peace officer, felony hit and run, and felony obstruction of justice.
As he was being led by police, Paige said he was innocent.
A second person was arrested on charges of hiding Paige.
Hooks suffered two broken ribs and internal injuries in the incident. He has been released from the hospital and is recovering at home.
