DALLAS -
Churches across the nation will ring their bells 28 times this morning in honor of the people who died one week ago at a Connecticut school.
In North Texas, the bells will sound at 8:30 a.m.
In downtown Dallas, the bells at Thanks-Giving Square will ring, and people are also invited to the non-denominational chapel to pray and reflect.
Connecticut Governor Dan Malloy called for a statewide moment of reflection for the victims, and Texas Governor Rick Perry requested the same of churches in Texas.
