NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

A woman faces DWI charges after crashing her car into an upstate home over the weekend.

The New York State Police say that Lynn Sarnowski, 47, of Elizaville, smashed through the front door of a house at East Kerley Cors Road in Red Hook.

It happened about 11 p.m. on Saturday.

The car came to a rest in the living room.  A man who was on the second floor was hurt and a woman who was watching TV in the living room was narrowly missed by the car but unhurt.

Firefighters had to remove Sarnowski from her car after the accident.  She was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie.  Her condition was unknown.

Sarnowski will appear in front of a judge in Red Hook at a later date.  Police say that additional charges may be pending.

The state police say Red Hook police had already arrested someone familiar with Sarnowski for felony DWI in the same area.
