HOUSTON (AP) - A 52-year-old Houston-area man is dead of stab wounds and his wife was found tied up in a closet at their home.
Authorities says Jaime and Sandra Melgar were found Sunday by relatives who found the garage door open. They walked into the house and discovered the victims, then called police.
The woman told deputies she blacked out in a bathroom and was restrained in a closet when she woke up. Authorities haven't said if the home was robbed or ransacked.
