A couple and their two children were plucked from the balcony at a townhome complex in Fort Worth early Tuesday morning.
About 2:00 a.m., fire crews arrived at the burning home in the 12600 block of Bay Avenue near Trinity Boulevard and Industrial Boulevard.
At least four units were on fire -- and a family living in one of them was stuck on their outside balcony.
Fire crews used a ladder to rescue the man, woman, and two young children.
No one was seriously hurt in the three-alarm fire. The cause is still under investigation.
Two other fires displaced families in other cities on Tuesday.
In Grand Prairie, firefighters believe lightning sparked a home fire after dawn Christmas morning in the 2500 block of Augusta Lane, near Great Southwest Parkway and Forum Drive.
Two adults and two children were inside, but everyone managed to get out safely.
And in northeast Dallas, fire broke out at the Montecito Palms apartments on Skillman Road at Royal Lane. About ten people were displaced from their homes, but fortunately, no one was injured.
