RICHARDSON, Texas -

Richardson police need help to catch a man they say attacked a woman over the weekend.

According to Sgt. Kevin Perlich, the victim had just left a nightclub near Belt Line and Plano Roads just after midnight on Sunday morning.

As she was getting into her vehicle in a parking lot, police say a man grabbed her from behind, showed her a knife, and forced her into her SUV.

The kidnapper forced her to drive to a parking lot just a few blocks down E. Belt Line Road, where he sexually attacked her on the ground outside her vehicle.

The suspect, who may be homeless, then ran away. The victim said he is a thin white male about 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 40 to 50 years old. He was unshaven and had brown-gray shoulder-length hair.

The victim said he also smelled of alcohol and body odor, and had yellow teeth. He was wearing a blue t-shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

If you know this person or anything about the attack, please call the Richardson Police Department at 972-744-4801.
